Robert Schwartz, right, principal, St. Charles of New York received a top award in the prestigious Sub-Zero/Wolf design contest, from Jim Bakke, president. Schwartz's sophisticated wine tasting room for a client in Greenwich, Conn., earned him a best in class award in a contest that drew almost 1,000 entries.
Since then, Schwartz has gone on to judge the contest along with a panel of prominent architects, interior designers and kitchen designers. With his fellow judge Jamie Drake, ASID, Schwartz presented the contest results to a gathering of media and designers in New York City.

St. Charles of New York, this project was awarded "Best Kitchen" by InTown Westchester magazine.
Addressing a sell-out crowd of fellow professionals at the industry's annual mega event, the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show, Karen Williams described her company's forward-thinking approach to collaborating with architects and interior designers. "Such professional partnerships ultimately best serve the client because they bring three complimentary but different areas of expertise to the job," she explained.
